In a resolute statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that the ongoing conflict in Gaza will persist until all of Israel’s objectives are accomplished, specifically emphasizing the destruction of Hamas.

Netanyahu recounted a tragic incident three months prior, characterizing it as a “terrible massacre” committed by Hamas against Israel. In response to this event, Netanyahu revealed that his government directed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to engage in a full-scale war with the explicit goals of eliminating Hamas, securing the safe return of hostages, and ensuring that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel’s security.

“The war must not be stopped until we achieve all of the goals,” declared Netanyahu, underscoring the unwavering determination to see the mission through to its conclusion. The Israeli Prime Minister made it clear that Hamas would not be granted any form of immunity, emphasizing a commitment to fighting until security is fully restored in both the southern and northern regions of the country.

“We will not give Hamas any immunity whatsoever, and we will fight until we restore security in both the south and the north. Until then, and to that end, everything must be put aside, and we must continue with united forces until absolute victory is achieved,” Netanyahu asserted, highlighting the urgency and unity required to achieve what he termed “absolute victory.”

The prime minister’s declaration comes amidst a prolonged and intense conflict with Hamas, sparked by what he described as a heinous act by the militant group. Netanyahu’s government has directed military efforts to address the immediate threat posed by Hamas, ensuring the safety of Israeli hostages and eliminating the perceived danger emanating from Gaza.

The statement reflects a steadfast commitment to a comprehensive and unyielding approach to the conflict, with Netanyahu making it clear that the war will endure until every outlined goal is achieved. The refusal to grant immunity to Hamas and the emphasis on restoring security across the country underscore the gravity of the situation and the resolve to see the mission through to its finality.

As the conflict continues, Netanyahu’s words serve as a public affirmation of Israel’s position and intentions in the ongoing war in Gaza, offering insight into the government’s perspective and approach to the complex and challenging situation in the region.
